As ICE spreads its cruelty across our country - we will not stand down! Thankfully, NDLON, the National Day Laborer Organizing Network, is working hard to build actionable ways we can give support to our immigrant community, provide warnings, serve as witnesses, and report and publicize illegal and brutal confrontations by ICE.

Currently NDLON is organizing and training volunteers in Adopt a Day Labor Corner - an Invitation to Collective Care and Resistance.

We are calling on all allies in or around the 94536, 94537, 94538, 94539, 94555 and 94560 codes to Adopt a Day Labor Corner in your local community. Choose a location convenient to you, where day laborers gather, and commit to showing up regularly. Be present. Be consistent. Build relationships and offer protection.

"We are calling on all allies and people of conscience to Adopt a Day Labor Corner in your local community. What we’re witnessing in Los Angeles and across Southern California—ICE raids, armored vehicles, and masked agents—may feel like a distant issue but for immigrant workers, for day laborers, for our neighbors, it is already here. And Los Angeles is a testing ground for what will come soon across the country after the massive increase in ICE funding. This moment demands more than watching. It demands that we show up for one another—in person, nonviolently, with courage, with love, and with urgency. If you are not at risk of deportation, we are asking you to consider taking action today.

Let our love be stronger than their hate. Let our unity be louder than their fear. Let our actions reflect who we really are."
